Bugatti Divo: The ultra expensive Hypercar

The Bugatti Divo at the Paris motor show was a stunner. The Bugatti Divo is the French hypercar maker’s crown jewel currently and commands a price tag of Rs. 41 crores ($5.8 million). According to Bugatti, the DIVO is the most agile and dynamic car BUGATTI has ever created – a perfect homage for the 110th anniversary, which will be held in 2019. A monumental driving machine, production will be strictly limited to just 40 units. Combining heart-stopping acceleration and greater downforce, it is made to excite – a car built for corners.

Only 40 of these beautiful masterpieces would be made and no surprise all 40 of them are already sold. It has been named after Albert Divo who is two time Targa Florio Winner.

Others Hope For Breakthroughs

The Bugatti Divo is powered by the same eight-liter quad-turbo W16 engine which also propels the Chiron and puts out a whopping 1500PS of peak power and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. While its predecessors, the Veyron, and the Chiron managed a top speed of 400+ kmph, the Divo is restricted to 380 kmph.

The power it gives out is 1103.2 KW @ 6700 RPM, 1500 HP @ 6700 RPM, 1479 BHP @ 6700 RPM. PowerDrift got a chance to better admire this beast at the Paris Motor Show and this is what they think:
