The Avengers video game developed by Square Enix is going to be released soon

The video game which is developed by Square-Enix and Crystal Dynamics as part of a new concerted effort by Marvel to return to AAA-gaming was announced in 2017 when all we had was a teaser — a 50-second video announcing “The Avengers Project” as the next big console videogame. Now, we have finally it first looks; not so surprisingly, it looks pretty damn good.

The game will task the players to unite all the Earth’s mightiest to the rescue of the world in a terrorist attack on San Francisco. This was revealed at Square-Enix’s E3 press conference this evening. The players would have the choice to be any one of the following superheroes: Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Hulk, and Thor.

The Avengers altogether will tell the story of what went wrong in their mission and what are the consequences. The Avengers attempt to bring themselves back together in the wake of a grave tragedy. Oh, and Hank Pym is gonna show up at some point.

As well as an original story, the game will feature multiplayer components where players can customize heroes from the Marvel Comics roster and team up to protect the earth from new threats.

Although, the voice does not match the actual players. But the voice cast is still pretty interesting. It assembles Troy Baker as Bruce Banner, Jeff Schine as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Laura Bailey as Black Widow and Nolan North as Tony Stark.

It’ll be out on PS4 (which will get some exclusive bonuses like early beta access), Xbox One, Stadia and PC on May 15, 2020.
