Jaguar Land Rover’s Project Vector is the future of urban mobility

Jaguar Land Rover revealed its all-new concept vehicle which is part of their ‘Destination Zero’ mission. Project Vector is a concept vehicle that is targeted to provide an autonomous, clean transport system for Urban Mobility for the future.

The compact car measures just 4m in length, the battery and drivetrain components are neatly packaged within the flat floor to allow for a variety of transport uses in city environments.

    “Project Vector shows JLR as a leader in innovation to make our societies safer and healthier and the environment cleaner,” says chief executive officer Ralf Speth.

Destination Zero is a collaborative project with other innovators in the transport world. They plan to find a viable solution for urban transport for future smart cities. Project Vector is part of that mission.

For the on-road pilot program, it will be tested in Coventry in the year 2021.
