Despite being the underdog stepping into the Octagon on May 9, the challenger for the interim lightweight title didn’t look out of place whatsoever. Justin Gaethje defeated Tony Ferguson to win the Interim Lightweight Champion. The match ended with a TKO finishing at 3 minutes, 39 seconds into the fifth round.
