The All new iPhone XR: Reviews

The iPhone XR does make a couple of compromises compared to the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max – it has an aluminium core rather than stainless steel, it doesn’t offer the perfect OLED display or dual rear cameras of the pricier iPhone XS and XS Max.

Fastest processor in a phone, Very long battery life, Excellent camera performance, Big, bright and colourful LCD, Superb audio quality, Great flagship value

The iPhone XR is available for pre-order now and goes on sale Oct. 26. It starts at $749 for 64GB of storage, and it’s available through Apple and all the major US.

The iPhone XR’s size and weight (6.8 ounces, 5.9 x 3 x 0.3 inches) is in between that of the iPhone XS (6.2 ounces, 5.7 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches) and that of the XS Max (7.3 ounces, 6.2 x 3.1 x 0.3 inches). Google’s Pixel 3 XL (6.5 ounces, 6.2 x 3 x 0.3 inches), with its 6.3-inch screen, is a bit lighter but comparably bigger than the iPhone XR.

Comparing these three phones might help you with choosing your next flagship.

According to CNN, The XR is heavier and a bit thicker than the iPhone XS, and it has a border around the display. It’s not as sleek as the XS and XS Max’s edge-to-edge display, but that’s an aesthetic issue.

The XR also comes with an aluminium frame, instead of the extra durable steel frame on the higher-end devices

It has a pretty good battery life. Although the XR is less expensive than the other new iPhones, It starts at $749 for a 64GB version. Much less than the starting iPhone XS model ($999) and the iPhone XS Max ($1,099) for the same storage capacity.

The first iPhone XR pre-orders will arrive starting on Friday.
