A final test for SpaceX Crew Dragon, set to return to Earth today

SpaceX Crew dragon moved one step closer to a historic event as the spacecraft made its first unmanned-flight to the ISS with supplies. Now there is another test waiting for SpaceX as Crew Dragon spacecraft needs to make it back on Earth safely.

The spacecraft is supposed to dock off the ISS at 0731 GMT, and after five hours the capsule will enter the Earth’s atmosphere and will land on Earth at 1345GMT.

If everything goes as planned then it will mean Crew Dragon is ready to carry two NASA astronauts into space in its next mission.

Elon Musk stated that re-entry would be his biggest concern:

I’d say hypersonic re-entry is probably my biggest concern, Will the parachutes deploy correctly? And will the system guide Dragon 2 to the right location and splashdown safely?
