Apple launched its AirPods wireless earbuds in September 2016. The previous edition of the earbuds brought excellent sound quality, great auto play/pause functions, the accuracy of the Siri controls were a pleasant surprise and call quality was impressive. So you might wonder what the new edition will bring?
The new AirPods 2 will bring a lot of new features including “Hey Siri” function. The bass is said to be a lot better than the previous AirPods and the earbuds might come in new design offering a black finish to the customers.

According to 9to5Mac, the new Pods possess the following features:-

- Noise cancellation feature will be present

Expected release date
The AirPods will expectedly be released in the first half of 2019. The rumours suggest that the announcement for the release of the AirPods is likely to be made at the event to be hosted by Apple on March 25th,2019, but don’t get your hopes too high as the event is said to be focused on Apple’s TV streaming plans or its Apple News subscription services, not on hardware.
Price
The current AirPods are $159, but a report from Bloomberg states that the next-gen AirPods may be more expensive. Apple is known for two things, one is its quality products and the other is the high price tag of its products. Apple may introduce high-end model costing even more. The specific price is still to be declared and there are no official words on it till now. So if you are a fan of Apple products, there is nothing much you can do but to wait for the official words to come out on the product.
