Samsung Galaxy Note 20 launched, along with Galaxy Z Fold 2: Unpacked Event

Samsung released five products in its Unpacked event including the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note S20 Ultra. The event also saw new Samsung Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 2.

While there were no big enhancements in any device, all of them carried some improvements over their predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

The note series got two new models Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra which probably are the best android smartphone out there. Both Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra feature a screen with 1440p display but only Note 20 Ultra features a higher 102Hz refresh rate.

Samsung says that Note 20 Ultra has the largest screen in any Note series device with a massive 6.9-inch display. Both Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra have three cameras with S20 Ultra having a 108 MP main camera. Other than that it has 12MP periscope telephoto and 12MP ultrawide camera. Note 20 also has a three-camera setup with 12MP main, 64MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide lenses.

One thing that differentiates Note series from other phones is the S Pen and Samsung has announced that they have worked greatly on reducing the latency of the S Pen to 9ms.

Note series is coming in new colors Mystic Bronze, Mystic Green, Mystic Gray and Mystic Black.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+

The company also released its all-new Galaxy Tab series, the basic Tab S7 sports an 11-inch screen while the S7+ has a 12.4-inch display. They both have a 120hz refresh rate screen.

Samsung has also launched its new Book Cover Keyboard that can be used with the tabs. The S-Pen for the tabs is just a bigger variant of Note 20 series S Pen.

Samsung Buds Live

Galaxy Buds Live

Samsung also launched their all new earbuds Samsung Buds Live which uses AKG’s sound expertise and are better than Samsung Galaxy Buds+.

The earbuds will be available in Black, White and Bronze color options. They also come with Active Noise Cancellation which is assisted by three microphones and Voice Pickup unit on the device which helps in cutting low constant noise in the background.

Samsung has come up with their latest Watch 3 in two variants 41mm and 45mm. The Galaxy Watch face can be customized with different faces from the Galaxy Store. This also gives you the opportunity to get different information on the watch face as per your personalization.

Galaxy Watch 3 comes with Blood Oxygen meter, blood pressure meter and electrocardiogram(ECG). Other features include running analysis, VO2 max readings tracker, library of more than 120 different video workouts, sleep score insights and more.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung has finally showcased the successor to the Galaxy Fold, dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company has made a lot of improvements, which it claims are influenced by user feedback from its earlier two foldable devices.

The company has revealed that the device will launch on September 1, which is also when the device will be made available for pre-ordering. It will be made available in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colour options.

The device will sport a 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch foldable display inside of the fold. On the back, it will feature a triple camera setup and on both the displays, it will feature single hole punch modules.

The company claims that the device features better bristles inside of it to keep the dust out.

Both Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be available for pre-order on August 6. Galaxy Note 20 is priced at $999 while the Note 20 Ultra is priced at $1,299.99 for the 128GB storage / 12GB RAM model and $1,449.99 for 512GB.
